Audra and Lacey here! Today is the day we set off for our honeymoon at Curacao Island in the Caribbean, provided by www.gaytravel.com!!! A little back story: I’m an Ohio gal, Lacey is an Indiana gal, we met at Chicago Pride a couple years back, fell in LOVE and got married in Central Park in New York City on January 20th 2013! Traveling is our passion, so what a better way to celebrate our nuptials than sipping Mai Tai’s on the beautiful beaches at the Curacao Marriott Beach Resort and Emerald Casino!

On resort grounds you will find numerous restaurants, pool with swim up bar, on-site casino, a state of the art fitness facility with health spa, and a private beachfront with a natural coral reef–perfect for an underwater snorkeling adventure!
With all of these amazing amenities waiting for us and the knowledge that Columbus, Ohio (home), would soon be getting hit with a snow storm, nobody had to twist our arms to get out of town! We left Columbus Friday evening and had an overnight stay in Miami, FL to catch our connecting flight to Curacao the next afternoon.
